KU BBA International Program Heads to South Korea for the Jump Program Korea 2024

During the week of November 11-15, 2024, selected students from the KU BBA International Program, accompanied by Dr. Eakapat Manitkajornkit, Director of the KU, and Associate Professor Dr. Kamolbhan Sangmahachai, Lecturer of the BBA International Program and former Head of the Department of Technology Management and Operations, embarked on an exciting journey to South Korea for the Jump Program Korea 2024. One of the highlights of this visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Daejin University. This collaboration aims to enhance the educational experience for students, facilitating opportunities for joint research, exchange programs, and resource sharing between the two institutions. Additionally, the MOU will provide students with access to diverse learning environments and cultural experiences, while faculty members can benefit from collaborative projects and shared expertise. The delegation also visited Smart City Korea, an innovative hub focusing on cutting-edge technologies and urban development. Celestial Farewell Party for KU BBA Graduates!

November 16, 2024- The KU BBA International Program recently hosted a fabulous Celestial Farewell Party to honor our graduating seniors for their hard work and achievements. This special event was made possible by our diligent first and second-year students, alongside our third-year students who organized the farewell activities for their seniors. We were privileged to have several esteemed speakers, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, former Chairman of the Board of Directors, opened the program with a warm welcome to all students and guests. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai, Director and Secretary of the KU BBA International Program, provided an overview of the event’s highlights as the overall chair. Exciting Collaboration Between BBA and the University of Liverpool

On November 11, 2024, Professor Liz Crowley, Associate Dean at the University of Liverpool, and Ms. Kelly-Ann Hughes, International Recruitment and Retention Officer at the University of Liverpool, visited BBA and established an academic collaboration. A guest lecturer from the University of Liverpool will be welcomed to lecture BBA students in the future. Good news for BBA students: you will receive a 10% discount for studying a master’s degree at the University of Liverpool. Additionally, the process for credit transfer for 1-2 semesters and 2+2 degrees for studying BBA and at Liverpool was initiated.

Empowering Futures: KU BBA International Program’s Training Session on Personality Development and Interview Skills for Graduating Students

On November 10, 2024, from 9 AM to 4 PM, the KU BBA International Program hosted an exciting training session focused on Personality Development and Interview Preparation for our 4th-year students! The training covered essential topics, including Professional Attire, Impressive Personality, and Job Interview Preparation. The goal was to equip our students for their upcoming careers as they approached graduation. The event kicked off with an inspiring opening by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, the former Chairman of the Board of Directors. We were also thrilled to hear a warm welcome speech from the new Chairman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pattaragit Netniyom. Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai, Director and Secretary of the KU BBA International Program, was present to support the training.

KU BBA International Program at the THAI UNIVERSITY FAIR 2024 Hosted by Ruamudee International School: Engaging with Future Leaders

On November 6, 2024, the KU BBA International Program participated in the THAI UNIVERSITY FAIR 2024, hosted by Ruamudee International School (RIS). The event was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, Former Chairman of the Board of the KU BBA International Program, along with BBA students. Over 365 students and parents attended the fair, representing various international schools, including Adventist International Mission School in Muaklek, Saraburi; Berkeley International School; Keerapat International School; Korat Adventist International School in Nakhon Ratchasima; Pan Asia International School; Rugby School Thailand; Traill International School; Wells International School; NIST International School; and Harrow International School. The BBA International Program would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Tawan Waengsothorn, Counselor of RIS Ruamrudee International School, for the warm welcome and invitation to participate. We also thank the interested students and parents who visited our booth.

The KU BBA International Program proudly attended the Research Seminar hosted by the College of Commerce, Mcili University, Japan.

The seminar kicked off with the first session, featuring Research Presentation Vol. 2 by students from Suzuki College of Commerce. The second session focused on Intercultural Communication, allowing students from both universities to discuss their research papers collaboratively. This seminar explored the theme: “What are the qualities and abilities of Japanese students who have experienced study abroad programs as global human resources?” Additionally, it examined “The Mechanism of Consumer Responses to AI-Generated Advertisements by Charitable Organizations.” We were honored to be welcomed by Dr. Nisato Suzuki, Associate Professor at Meiji University, and Professor Dr. Hiroo Takahashi, former lecturer in International Management and Business Ethics at Hakuoh University and former President of the Japan Society for Business Ethics Study (JSBES). Representing the KU BBA International Program were the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Associate Professor Dr. Sasivimol Meaampol, Associate Professor Dr. Bordin Rasameethes, Advisor of the Faculty; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, Former Chairman of the Board; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai, Head of the Department of Management, and Dr. Eakapat Manitkajornkit, Director of the KU BBA International Program. This event provided an invaluable opportunity for our students and faculty to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration!

Enhancing Global Perspectives: A Workshop on Research Methods in Business with Dr. I Gede Nandya Oktora Panasea at KU BBA International Program

The KU BBA International Program was honored to host Guest Lecturer Dr. I Gede Nandya Oktora Panasea, the Head of Information Management and Cooperation Affairs at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. This dynamic session was dedicated to our 3rd-year BBA International Program students and focused on crucial aspects of Research Methods in Business. During the SPSS workshop, students delved into defining variables, running tables, case summaries, and creating simple charts, practically enhancing their analytical skills. We were also privileged to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pattaragit Netniyom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KU BBA International Program, welcomed I Gede and participated in a fruitful lunch meeting. They discussed more profound collaboration opportunities between our college and Udayana University, paving the way for more innovative exchanges. This lecture is a vital part of the internationalization initiative of the KU BBA International Program, aimed at inviting guest lecturers from various countries to provide our students with a truly global perspective.

KU BBA International Students’ Participation in the 10th International Students’ Start-up Conference in Busan, South Korea

From October 29 to October 31, 2024, selected students from the Faculty of Business Administration at Kasetsart University participated in the 10th International Students’ Start-up Conference held at Tongmyong University in Busan, South Korea. Dr. Nattakan Chinnaranant, a lecturer and Head of the Department of Marketing, and Ms. Jittima Krissadanont, HR Officer of the Faculty of Business Administration, accompanied them. The KU BBA International  Program students who attended this conference included Lord Daemien Firston, Raschen Stoehr, Prawut Chotihamrong, Suwannaphum Satchaphimuk, and Kanisin Lekcharoen. During the conference, the goal of the Track for Professors was to establish a cooperative system for start-up education and foster a vibrant start-up culture through the sharing of best practices. Dr. Nattakan Chinnaranant presented the KUBIC and KU Start-Up initiatives. For the Track for Students, the objective was to build a global network and strengthen global start-up capabilities. This track emphasized discovering start-up ideas tied to global (science-engineered) capstone designs and local problem-solving living labs. Visit to Kikkoman, Japan, by the KU BBA International Program

On October 29, 2024, selected students from the KU BBA International Program, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Associate Professor Dr. Sasivimol Meaampol, visited Kikkoman as part of the JUMP Program Japan 2024. They were joined by Associate Professor Dr. Bordin Rasameethes, Advisor to the Faculty; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KU BBA International Program and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Kasetsart University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai, Head of the Department of Management and Secretary and Director of the KU BBA International Program, and Dr. Eakapat Manitkajornkit, Director of the KU BBA International Program. This visit aimed to gain insights into Kikkoman’s innovative practices and global strategies, thereby enriching our understanding of international business. Additionally, our guest lecturer for the KU BBA International Program, Professor Dr. Hiroo Takahashi, a former lecturer in International Management and Business Ethics at Hakuoh University and former President of the Japan Society for Business Ethics Study (JSBES), accompanied the group to support our team during this valuable experience.
