NUBI 2024: Welcoming New BBA KU Members with Exciting Activities

From July 30 to August 1, 2024, at The Regent Cha Am Beach Resort, the arrival of new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) International Program students at Kasetsart University was celebrated. The NUBI 2024 event was packed with fun, learning, and bonding experiences, beginning an exciting academic journey for the new members.

On the first day, they started visiting The Chang Hua Man Project in Phetchaburi. Students had the opportunity to explore rural communities and learn about the late King Rama IX’s farm research center. This insightful trip provided a deeper understanding of sustainable agricultural practices and community development.

The second day was filled with engaging activities to foster teamwork and personal growth, and the morning started with intensive teambuilding activities and ice-breakers, setting a lively tone for the day. An orientation session followed, led by esteemed directors, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai and Dr. Eakapat Manitkajornkit. Mr. Gerald Lim expertly moderated the activities from Australia.

First-year students attended a training session on presentation skills and personality improvement in the afternoon. The highlight of the day was a vibrant Hawaiian Party in the evening. The party featured a student band and a best Hawaiian dress contest, where Associate Professor Dr. Pattaragit Netniyom welcomed students and awarded the winners. It was a night full of music, laughter, and colorful outfits.

Students embarked on a 1000 Sook Food and Farm tour on the final day. The tour provided fun and educational experiences, allowing students to explore sustainable farming practices. It was a delightful way to wrap up the induction program.

Heartfelt gratitude was extended to the BBA student officers from the second, third, and fourth years who played a crucial role in organizing these activities. Their guidance and shared experiences were invaluable to the incoming first-year students. At KU BBA, it truly felt like a family.

NUBI 2024 was an exciting and enriching start to the new academic year, beginning a fantastic journey for the new BBA KU members.
