Guest Lecture on Sustainability in Business by Aston Business School Professor

On February 13, 2025, from 1 PM to 7 PM, the KU BBA International Program had the privilege of hosting an esteemed international guest lecturer for our third-year students in the subject of Principles of Sustainability in Business.

The session commenced with a warm welcome from the Interim Director of the BBA International Program and Associate Dean for Standard Development and International Strategy, Assistant Professor Dr. Yodmanee Tepanon. He was accompanied by Associate Professor Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KU BBA International Program and Associate Dean for Student Affairs, as well as Dr. Eakapat Manitkajornkit, the former Director of the BBA KU.

Dr. Prasanta Kumar Dey, a Professor of Operations and Information Management at Aston Business School, Aston University, then engaged our students in an enlightening discussion on “Sustainability in a Global Context” and “Circular Economy to Combat Climate Change Issues: Lessons Learned from Both Developed and Emerging Economies.”

The lecture was highly interactive, providing students with the opportunity to engage deeply with the concepts and share their insights. This experience reinforced our commitment to sustainability education and equipped students with essential knowledge to address contemporary climate challenges.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to Dr. Dey for his invaluable insights and contributions to enhancing our understanding of sustainability in business.
