The KU BBA International Program proudly hosted the Summer School International Program 2024 from July 9 to July 27, 2024, offering students an enriching and transformative summer.
The program commenced with an orientation on July 8, 2024. Dr. Suparerk Sooksrmar, Associate Dean for Business Administration, warmly welcomed the international students from other countries. The event featured an inspiring opening speech by Dr. Eakapat Manitkajornkit, Director of the KU BBA International Program. Dr. Joefrey Geroche, KU BBA International Coordinator, moderated the orientation. Additionally, Dr. Bordin Rasameethes extended a warm welcome to Mr. Carter and Mr. Rossie Chu, representatives from Honey Hills International Group, who were instrumental in organizing this year’s summer school.
On July 13, 2024, students kicked off their day with a visit to the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a luxury hotel in Bangkok. They gained a behind-the-scenes look at hotel management and experienced the operations of an actual hotel. Following a delicious lunch, students headed to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) to explore the Investment Learning Museum. They delved into a permanent exhibition to learn about money and investment management. The day gave students valuable insights into the hospitality industry and finance.
On July 21, 2024, the KU BBA International Summer School Program took students on an incredible field trip to Ayutthaya Province. Students explored the vibrant floating market and the historic Wat Chai Watthanaram temple. The trip included exciting activities such as elephant riding, savoring delicious Thai cuisine, and immersing themselves in rich Thai culture. As a delightful souvenir, each student received a cotton candy roti. The trip was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai, Director and Secretary, filled the day with learning, fun, and unforgettable experiences.
The program concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony on July 30, 2024. Assistant Prof. Dr. Suparerk Sooksrmarn, Associate Dean for Business Administration, delivered the closing speech and awarded certificates of completion to the 43 students from Australia. The event also featured an inspiring speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai, Director and Secretary of the KU BBA International Program, with Mr. Gerald Lim, KU BBA lecturer, moderating the ceremony. The students were congratulated for their achievements and reminded of the educational tours, cultural experiences, and more they enjoyed at KU BBA.
