BBA KU Attended the Thai University Fair 2024 at ISB

The KU BBA International Program proudly attended the Thai University Fair 2024 on Thursday, November 28, 2024, from 10:40 AM to 12:00 Noon at the prestigious International School Bangkok. Our delegation was led by Dr. Joefrey Geroche, the KU BBA International Program Coordinator, along with three dedicated fourth-year students.As one of Thailand’s elite international schools, ISB provided a fantastic platform for us to showcase our unique BBA program to parents and students alike. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Doug McQueen, High School University Counselor at International School Bangkok, for this valuable opportunity. We also appreciate the interest shown by the parents and students in our program.

Elite Access Seminar: Adapting Businesses in a Rapidly Changing World

On November 28, 2024, the KU BBA International Program Students hosted the third episode of the Elite Access Seminars, centered on the essential topic of “Adapting Businesses in a Rapidly Changing World.” Held in the BA Auditorium, Level 5, the event was directed by fourth-year BBA students.The invited speaker, Dr. Wit Sittivaekin, a strategy management professional, provided insights into how businesses can navigate rapid global changes. With experience at BMW and Siam Commercial Bank, he holds a B. Pol Sci. from Chulalongkorn University and advanced degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Southampton. His interests in football and history, along with his podcast “8MinuteHistory,” enriched the discussion.The seminar was supported by the Former Chairman of the Board of the KU BBA International Program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, who opened the session, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai, Director and Secretary of the program, was present to support the activity.

Empowering Future Marketers: A Week of Insights with Professor Barbara Mróz-Gorgoń at KU BBA International Program

November 16 to 22, 2024, the KU BBA International Program had the honor of hosting the esteemed Associate Professor Barbara Mróz-Gorgoń, a Professor at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. As chairman of the Advisory Board of Kotler Impact Poland and vice-chairman of the Council of the Western Chamber of Commerce, she brought a wealth of knowledge to our program.Dr. Sasivimol Meaampol, the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Kasetsart University, warmly welcomed her alongside Associate Professor Dr. Bordin Rasameethes, Advisor of the Faculty, and several other distinguished faculty members, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pattaragit Netniyom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KU BBA International Program; Assoc. Strengthening Ties: The Faculty of Economics and Business Udayana University and Faculty of Business Administration, Kasetsart University Sign Letter of Intent

On November 19, 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Businessat Udayana University, Republic of Indonesia, signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Faculty of Business Administration at Kasetsart University. The agreement was formalized in the presence of esteemed representatives, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Suparerk Sooksmarn, Associate Dean for Business Administration, stood in for the Dean of Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Business Administration. Also present were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornlapas Suwannara, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong Boonsiritomachai, Director and Secretary of the KU BBA International Program and Head of Department of Management, and Assistant Professor Dr. Yodmanee Tepanon, Associate Dean for Standard Development and International Strategy.This collaboration marks a significant step forward, as the KU BBA International Program invited three lecturers from Udayana University to participate, as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranpong previously visited Udayana University to share his expertise with their students.Both institutions look forward to a fruitful partnership, focusing on student research and knowledge exchange in the field of business administration.

Learning from Experts: Mr. Norbert Bąk Visits Our Class

On November 19, 2024, we were excited to welcome Mr. Norbert Bąk, the Director of the Polish Agency of Trade, to talk to our second-year BBA International students. He shared important information about trade and investment between Poland and Thailand, helping our students understand global business better. Mr. Bąk’s presentation worked perfectly with our guest lecturer, Dr. Hab. Barbara Mroz-Gorgon, linking classroom lessons with real-world applications. This collaboration aims to give students a chance to see how academic concepts apply to actual industry challenges. As part of this session, students got to work on a project where they created a marketing campaign to promote Thailand to people in Poland. This hands-on experience allows them to put their classroom knowledge into practice, enhancing their skills and creativity. We want to thank Mr. Norbert Bąk for his valuable insights and Dr. Hab. Barbara Mróz-Gorgoń for her support. Together, they are helping shape the business leaders of tomorrow.
